LETAR, a Turkish company dedicated to enhancing education through technology, embarked on an ambitious project to create an engaging K12 education system for students in the Middle East and Central Asia. Their goal was to provide immersive, 3D-based learning content on laptops equipped with autostereoscopic displays. This cutting-edge system needed to offer smart, interactive exercises in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and geography, all tailored to the regional languages and educational requirements.

The Challenge

LETAR faced a unique set of challenges in creating a 3D education system that would stand out:

  • Localized Content: The system needed to support multiple languages, including complex scripts like Cyrillic, and RTL languages (such as Arabic).
  • High-Value 3D Visualizations: It was critical that the 3D elements not only look impressive but also add real value to the learning process.

  • Adaptation to Proprietary Hardware: Midway through the project, LETAR decided to produce their own autostereoscopic laptops, which required adapting the entire system to the new hardware specifications.

The Solution

2. Implementation of 330 Smart Exercises

Leopoly worked closely with LETAR to bring their pre-designed exercise scenarios to life:

3. Multilingual Support

Internationalization was a cornerstone of the project. The system was translated into 4 languages, and the launcher was translated into 4 more, supporting diverse linguistic requirements:
