LeoInsole Release notes | 16.12.2025

Release date: 16.12.2025

Overview

This release delivers advanced customization tools for complex orthotic modeling, featuring the new Contour Editor for precise insole outline modification, as well as full control over Arch Length for smoother distal fitting. Additionally, new functionality allows accurate modeling of specialized orthotics like UCBL-style devices via extended side walls, alongside a refined Rearfoot Post design with increased wedge limits for Inverted Blake devices.

Key Enhancements

1. Contour Editor

This feature allows for the free modification of the insole’s 2D outline (or contour map) using adjustable control points. The system retains the basic length and width settings controlled via simple sliders, but in addition, users can now create any shape by manipulating the contour line. The feature is active only when the Dimensions tool is open.

2. Arch length

The proximal and distal arch start points (of the arch curve) are now fully adjustable, allowing for more precise customization. This results in smoother and more consistent fitting at the distal end of the arch, especially for full-length insoles.

Side walls for UCBL style orthotic

A new function allows extending the height of the insole shell side walls, helping to model UCBL-style orthotics more accurately. This new feature can be found inside the Heel cup tool parameters

4. Improved rearfoot post design

We’ve refined the rearfoot post for better overall quality. The edges now have larger and smoother edge rounding which allows the post to blend more naturally into the insole shell. This results in a cleaner finish, a stronger and more durable structure, and reduces the risk of damaging the shoe.

5. Increased rearfoot post wedge limits

A small but important update now allows modeling Inverted Blake devices, giving the control needed to create these orthotics accurately with much more pronounced rearfoot wedging.

6. Full forefoot post

It is now possible to tilt the whole forefoot, or even the entire insole, when using a full-length insole to achieve the desired alignment and correction.
